Broadly speaking, no. There are no judges, and no one reads your story unless you show it to them. NaNoWriMo, as an organization, is in no way involved in your work. Our only role is to provide you with tools, resources and encouragement as you journey toward writing something you will treasure!
Participating as part of a classroom is the one exception to this. Your teacher may design your class in a way that gives them access to your work. For example, if they ask you to write inside the NaNoWriMo interface, they will be able to view your work on the Young Writers Program website. Generally speaking, if you are participating as part of a class or writing program, regardless of where or how you are writing, your teacher may want to see your work.
